The Fashion Show

Well as I have told you before I was able to participate in a fashion show. The fashion show was March 5th and I had a BLAST! I Loved the dress that I got to model. It is purple, silk, has a little train on the back and some sparkles on it too. It was so so so so so pretty. I wanted to buy it so so so bad but it was too expensive and I already have a different prom dress already hanging in my closet to wear. It was so much fun walking down the run way. I was escorted down the run way with a cool, fun guy. Before we went out he told me that he was going to dip me at the end of the run way. I was a little scared when he told me he was going to do that and I told him he could only dip me if we practiced first. So we did a quick little practice and he didn't drop me. He told me that I had to trust him. So I did. Well the time came that I had to walk. So they announced my name and we began walking down the runway. I was so worried about tripping while I walked because I know that I would have somehow done that if I was not concentrating on not tripping. But I made it to the end of the runway and then the dip came. It was so fast that I grabbed his hand with the wrong hand so when he dipped me it felt weird. But I trusted he wouldn't drop me and he didn't. I was grateful for that. When we turned around and got off the run way he told me "it felt like I was baptizing you." I laughed and told him that it did feel like that and I could not believe that I messed up. Thank goodness it did not look like it. Ha Ha. All in all I had a great time. I love this time; I hate this time.

This is the most wonderful time of the year to be in Arizona. Most of the people in our great nation are still looking at freezing weather and snow. I look out the window and what do I see? I see popcorn popping on the orange tree. I know this really is not true, but it seams to me. The scent that these little blossoms let off is wonderful. I have several orange trees around my dealership and when the wind blows just right, it is the only time my work does not STINK! The weather is great, you just cant beat 80 degree days and 40 degree nights. I have spent most of February out side geocaching. In fact I found 105 geocaches last month alone. I don't want this weather to end.

Now what is with the CRUEL joke that my allergies kick up at this time of the year. Why is it that all I can do is have red eye's, running nose and wanting to spray everyone with spit as I sneeze uncontrollably. Is this God's way of keeping balance in life. To give us the beauty of the Earth and then to give us the pain and suffering along with it. I really could do with out the itchy eyes that I have to put rags on just to make them feel good. It is a good thing for medication. It really makes life a lot better. I am just glad we live in a time that has such advantages in life. Well for those who read this blog and are still living in winter condition's I have to go out and mow my lawn. Have fun shoveling the snow!
