Half a year old!

Jocelyn is now 6 months! boy how the time flies. I just can not believe she is half a year old already. It has been so much fun having her this past 6 months and I absolutely love being her mom.

We started feeding her baby food at 4 months and I just thought this was a cute video. She gets so messy. As she eats she likes to put her fingers in her mouth after each spoon full. If we hold her hands down she will just put our hand in her mouth instead. I don't know why she likes to do that but it is just her thing I guess. I feel like more food gets all over her and the high chair than down her throat. Oh well.

This video is just of her playing. I love to watch her play with things. She is so fascinated with the toys and always wants to put them in her mouth. All her toys are all drenched by the end of the day with her slobber. needless to say I wash her stuffed animals constantly.

We like to tease our dogs and put Jocelyn on their backs like this so that when she gets older and starts to bother them more we will know the dogs are used to this and will not try to bite her. This dog is so good with her and just lets her do whatever she wants to him. He is so mellow.

We moved this past month and if it were not for this baby carrier, it would have been a long moving week. Jocelyn has been pretty dependent on me holding her and you can only do so much with one hand when it comes to packing up your house and cleaning. We FINALLY got moved and now jocelyn is much happier that I get to play with her and pay more attention to her.

Just a picture of her on a walk we took.

We bought her a toy piano so that she could pick up on those musical traits that I hope I passed on to her.

Since we are outside a lot we decided she needed a hat to keep her from getting sunburned. I love this hat so much because of all the color but Jon hates it. I guess we have different tastes in baby clothes.

JOCELYN GOT TO RIDE HER FIRST REAL HORSE! I was so excited to take her out to do this. Jon surprised me one day this past month because he did not have to go to work on a Friday since he already reached his 40 hours that week. I did not know he did not have work that morning and when he told me he did not he had a plan to take me and Jocelyn out for a horseback ride. I had not been on a horse since I got pregnant so I was so excited to go again. I love riding! Jocelyn loved it too.

We are just such a cute little family. We were joking that every time we have a kid we all need to take a pic of our family on the horse. By the time we have all our kids we will have to sit some on the neck of the horse. Hopefully we will have a strong horse by then. I look forward to all the other kids we will have and bring them on horse back rides in the future.
