I have been pretty busy this past month and I just realized it is almost Jocelyn's 6 month mark and I never posted about her 5 months! So here is Jocelyn at 5 months old. She has been fun this past month. She is just full of smiles and laughter. Jon and I love it when she is in the mood to play. We like to tickle her by blowing raspberries on her neck and when we do that she always tries to push us back with her hands. We call it wrestling. She also has a fascination with my nose and Jon's chin. She is always reaching for those when we hold her.
She has loved looking in books lately. I guess she is studying farm animals so she has something to babble about with daddy. :)
I took this picture when we were about to go to church. I asked if she was ready for church and she just gave us this huge cheesy smile. I love that she likes to go to church this early. I hope she continues to have this enthusiasm when she is older.
She absolutely loves to play with any wrapper that makes noise but ramen wrappers are her favorite. When she is fussy the one tried and proven way to get her to stop crying is to give her this wrapper. She will play forever with it. Gives me some time to actually get some cleaning done around the house. It is the most inexpensive toy we have haha.
We learned that she hates green beans. She lookes at me when I feed her them with this face. "mom do I really have to take another bite" all the other foods I give her she loves and practically shoves my hand forward so the spoon will go into her mouth. Its too bad she hates green beans so much because I love them.
We were visiting my parents and she loves this dog. Whenever he is around she is so entranced by him so we were playing with him. Thank goodness he is so patient.
My parents neighbors son and Jocelyn. They make the perfect camo couple. They were so much fun when we were taking these pictures. We got so many good pics but this one is my favorite.
Jocelyn got to ride her first horse around Christmas time! My niece got this from Santa so we found it to be a good photo op and a good time for her to ride her first horse. One that does not walk or move. She loved it.
For Christmas I got her this camo outfit. My sister in law made her this camo and duck dynasty bow but I did not have an outfit for it to match it. So I thought it would be fitting to buy her this outfit.
AND best part of this month was that it was Jocelyns first Christmas. I wish that I could have done more for her first christmas but we just moved a week before to a different house so I did not have much time to do much for Christmas. I wanted to buy a real tree and decorate it with Jocelyn but I was not able to do that and I wanted to make her a stocking but I just ran out of time to do that also. Next year will definitely be better! But I did get her presents and so did my mom and dad. Here she is sitting with her presents Christmas morning. Her presents are bigger than her haha.
She surprisingly did a really good job at ripping into her presents. She loved the sound of the ripping and laughed sometimes when it ripped. It was amusing to watch. I eventually helped her unwrap the presents because she got tired of it. She ended up getting a Jonny jumper from santa, the camo outfit from me, a high chair and high chair toys from my mom and dad. It turned out to be a good Christmas for her despite not getting what I wanted done.
It sure has been a fun month with her and look forward to this next month.

I so can't wait to see her again! she is just so super cute! I love the picture of her going to church. Its adorable. She is the prettiest baby I think I have ever seen. She needs to start growing that hair longer. :)
I agree with growing hair. She needs to start growing more soon so that I can start putting it in cute hair styles. I can not wait for that part!
